Getting There

The LiveStream Videocast can be found here: http://www.livestream.com/theshiftnetwork.  Please consult your course emails for the Password that pertains to your particular LiveStream course.  Just enter the password to connect.

What time is it?

Please make sure that you view our LiveStream channel while class is actually in session.  Video recordings are not archived on LiveStream.  You will find these on the Course Recordings Page for your course.

Louder please

Please make sure that both your computer volume AND the LiveStream volume have been turned up. The LiveStream volume control is located at the bottom left corner of the video window.  Mousing-over this control will show the volume slider; push the slider up until the bar is fully white for full volume.  If the speaker icon has a tiny “x” to its right, then Livestream is muted.  Click the icon to unmute.

Set-up

LiveStream requires Adobe Flash Player (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer).

Must I create an account with LiveStream?

No.  Establishing a personal account is optional and is not required to view the streaming Video broadcast.

If you would like to participate in the Livestream Chat, however, LiveStream does need you to have a personal account.  Here is where you can establish such an account:  https://secure.livestream.com/myaccount/signup.
