Welcome!  Here is how you will connect via MaestroConference.

This method of connection serves all types of telephones and Voice-Over IP too, such as Skype credit or subscription, Google Voice, and most other such providers except for MagicJack.  If you are looking for the 'Webcast,' we direct you to another article in this Forum.

At the designated time, or few minutes early to make sure you don't miss anything, dial your assigned telephone dial-in number.  When prompted to do so, enter your PIN number plus '#' to join the session.

(If you are using VOIP, just dial as if you were dialing a telephone.  Please ensure that the keypad on your screen is the kind that makes the actual touch tone sounds like a real telephone.)

Please know that both telephone and web broadcasts originate in San Francisco, CA, USA, and thus from the 'US - Pacific Time Zone.'  Here is the handy Time Zone Converter link for your convenience:   http://www.thetimezoneconverter.com

After the main discourse by the presenter, there is often a time for questions.  You will hear the facilitator solicit comments at that point.  S/he will likely ask you to press a number on your key pad to 'raise your hand' virtually.  You will press the number and then wait for the facilitator to call upon you.  If you are called upon, you will hear the speaker announce your name and at that time your voice will be live.  Participants listening via the ‘Webcast’ may type their questions into the ‘Chat’ box, and time-allowing, the facilitator will then read them to the presenter.

Sometimes, the large group will be divided into smaller discussion groups, called 'Breakout' groups.  The facilitator will announce this, but you do not need to take any additional action.  The process is guided from behind the scenes by someone with technological savvy.   If you do not hear anyone talking, please introduce yourself by name and encourage others to do the same.

If at any time you feel confused, please just press '5' on your telephone keypad to alert someone that you would like technical assistance.  If you call-in just after the main ‘Webcast’ presentation, that is absolutely fine, and please know that there will be a pause while you are manually added to a discussion group at that point.

Enjoy your call!
