In General

Some browsers are updated more rapidly, and a newly-released version of any browser may not be compatible with our platforms.  If you recently updated your main browser, try reverting to the previous version of that browser or use a different browser.
 

Here are the system requirements for our various platforms: 

InstantTeleseminar (Audio Webcast) 

Flash Player is required (http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/).

Shift Movement (selected Course Community Online pages)

Please use one of our recommended browsers if at all possible:

• Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer 9+.

The following browsers are also supported:

• Chrome, Firefox 5.0+, Safari 5+, Internet Explorer 8 (semi-supported, some visual features are missing from this browser).
   

Ning (selected Course Community Websites)

Ning works well with these browsers:

• Firefox 5 and 6
• Google Chrome
• Internet Explorer 8 and 9
• Safari 4 and 5

Ning should work well in Firefox 7 and 8 as well.

LiveStream (Videocast for selected courses only)

• Adobe Flash Player 10.0.32 or above
• Internet Explorer 8.0 or above, Firefox 2.0 or above, or Safari 3.0, or Chrome 4.0 or above
• Microsoft Windows XP SP2, Microsoft Windows Vista, Macintosh OS X v10.4 or above, or Linux
• 256 megabytes (MB) of RAM - 512 MB recommended
• JavaScript and Cookies must also be enabled.
• Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher resolution
• 16-bit sound card
• Speakers/headphones
• For a reliable viewing experience at medium quality we recommend a downstream connection speed of at least 700Kbps.
• Viewers can select a higher (up to 2Mbps for HD) or lower (198Kbps for low) video quality on the player depending on the connection speed.
• You can test your connection speed here; we recommend testing several times as bandwidth can fluctuate.
