The Shift Network - Partial Scholarship Program

Scholarship Guidelines & Application Form

The Shift Network empowers a global movement of people who are creating an evolutionary shift of consciousness that in turn leads to a more enlightened society, one built on principles of peace, sustainability, health, and prosperity. To that end, we strive to create the very best programs that we can in partnership with many of the world's most respected teachers, visionaries, and inspired leaders working in the transformational education field today.

The intention of our scholarship program is to support dedicated individuals who want to participate in our global mission by becoming increasingly empowered as agents of positive change, but who otherwise would not be able to enroll at full tuition.  We are grateful to be able to extend aid to a limited number of students in the form of partial course scholarships for some of our courses and programs at this time.

Please read and follow these guidelines carefully when applying for a scholarship award!

Scholarship Availability & Amount of Award

Whenever we are able to award scholarships for a particular course or program, our maximum scholarship award is normally 50% of the full rate (see exception in the following paragraph). The amount awarded to each qualified applicant is directed by our scholarship administration team. Applicants should only apply for a scholarship if they are able to pay for at least 50% of the course fees. We make every effort to offer partial scholarships for the majority of the programs that we offer, but we cannot promise to have scholarships available for every course.

SPECIAL NOTE: For the Indigenous Wisdom Course with Hereditary Chief Phil Lane, Jr., we are making a special exception for members of the First Nations, Aboriginal, American Indian, Alaskan Native, Metis and Inuit Communities in Australia, Canada, New Zealand or the United States for the Indigenous Wisdom Course with Hereditary Chief Phil Lane, Jr.).  These Indigenous Peoples will be eligible to receive a full scholarship upon application and proof of their community affiliation, (using the application link provided below).

Scholarship Qualifications

To qualify for a partial scholarship, prospective participants must complete and submit the scholarship application form, answering all questions on the form honestly and fully. Those who are already enrolled in a particular course are not eligible to receive a scholarship for that course retroactively, therefore we only accept scholarship applications from individuals who have not yet enrolled in the course of their request.

Scholarship Application Submissions

Prospective students may submit a scholarship application as soon as a particular course is announced, which is typically three to five weeks before the program begins. Applications are accepted at any time prior to the course's start date and for two to three weeks after it has begun, or for as long as it is listed on the Scholarship Application Form.

Scholarship Awards & Notifications

Our scholarship award determinations are made once we know the number of students enrolled in a given course or program.  We begin issuing scholarship award notifications and registration forms by email one day before the course begins. Therefore, we ask scholarship applicants to be patient and to understand that even if they have applied early, they will have to wait until the day before the program begins to find out if they have been awarded a scholarship. We do not offer our early registration bonuses to scholarship recipients.

Refund Policy for Scholarship Participants

As we have stated above, the intention of our scholarship program is to support individuals who are dedicated to becoming increasingly empowered change agents, but who otherwise would not be able to afford to enroll in one of our programs. We therefore expect applicants to be firmly committed to their course participation, and for that reason, the portion of the course fee paid by scholarship recipients is non-refundable, regardless of what the standard or advertised refund policy is for full-tuition attendees of that particular course.
