During Class
Closed Captioning is a live transcription of the spoken words during our classes via Zoom.
If you would like to use this feature, mouse over your Zoom window to locate your Zoom toolbar. You’ll see the Closed Caption button with a little arrow next to it and an option to select “Turn on (or Show) Subtitles”.
You are welcome to enable this feature if you would like, or if you find it distracting, you may also disable this feature in the same location. If you have any questions, please reach out to your host during the live class via the Zoom chat box, or contact our Customer Support Team at support.theshiftnetwork.com.
After each Class
Transcripts and closed captions on video recordings of our live classes are made available via your Course Homepage.
Automated closed captions are available immediately. Simply click on the play button (arrow) on a video recording and then click on the cc icon in the lower right-hand corner of the video player. This will open up the closed caption options, to turn on or off:
Transcripts for the previous week's session are usually posted 1–2 days prior to the next live session, and at that time, the transcript is used to create improved captions for the video recordings.
