How do I apply?
Click here to submit your application and payment.
You’ll be notified of your application status within one week of applying.
A $100 non-refundable application processing fee is included in your purchase.
What is the last day to apply/enroll?
The final day to submit an application and payment is April 10, 2024, at Noon Pacific. Since there is limited space in the program, approvals will be subject to availability.
What is the schedule, and what are the main program details?
Receive an Enneagram Depth Certification upon satisfaction of all program requirements.
Immerse yourself in an interdisciplinary, comprehensive training in rigorous teachings, academic studies, and experiential practices transmitted by today’s leading Enneagram teachers... to awaken consciousness in human life.
All live sessions will be held online through Zoom. There will be no in-person engagement.
The certification starts on April 17, 2024 and ends on June 4, 2025.
Weekly teachings are made available on Thursdays at 12pm Pacific, and live integration sessions are on Wednesdays at 10am Pacific.
There are breaks built into the program and a full month off from December 12, 2024 to January 7, 2025.
Three Monthly Live Integration Sessions: 120 minutes on Wednesdays at 10:00am Pacific. (90 minutes will be with Faculty followed by 30 minutes of Peer Discussion.) While we strongly recommend live-on-Zoom participation if possible, recordings will be provided. Students are encouraged to attend Integration sessions or access the recordings during the same week of the live teaching in order to stay current with the delivery of this program.
One Weekly Teaching Session (approximately 90-105 minutes) With Russ Hudson, Jessica Dibb and/or Guest Faculty will be made available each Thursday: Teaching Sessions will be made viewable online, from the comfort of your own home. We recommend students watch the weekly Teaching Session prior to the following Live Integration to be ready to engage in discussion and practices with Faculty based on the teaching.
Two Facilitated Learning Labs Every Month: You’ll have the opportunity twice each month to meet with a cohort of 12-15 of your fellow participants and a facilitator on Zoom. You’ll be able to have more personalized discussions, share experiences, and practice embodying the teachings. Each lab will be facilitated by a Certified Enneagram Teacher, and you’ll meet with the same facilitator and group for the duration of the program. Attendance in at least one Lab per month is required for certification. However, these small group sessions are such an invaluable part of the program we encourage you to attend as many as you can. Labs will be scheduled for a variety of days and times to accommodate participants’ differing schedules and time zones. All Labs are conducted as live meetings and will not be recorded.
What are the certification requirements?

Being certified in this program means that this student has done deep inner work, displayed competence, and demonstrated a commitment to rigorous personal growth, embodied awakening, walking the talk, and applying this wisdom to all they do in the world, no matter their profession.
What is the certification focus?
- Accelerated personal growth that is deeply integrated, both within the student and with the student’s work in the world. Embodied consciousness of the Enneagram as both an interdisciplinary study and as its own deep field of learning.
- Integration and balance of experiential learning, academic rigor, and community support.
- The Year-Long Certification Program in Conscious Living is an innovative training designed to meet the perennial desire for personal awakening and being in service to others while addressing the specific challenges and promises of the 21st century.
- Enneagram Depth Certification is a certificate program for both people who do not currently hold any certification in the Enneagram field, as well as already certified Enneagram teachers. This is a specialty certificate that you have fulfilled the requirements of a year-long immersion into learning, inner work, and are educated in the original teachings of the Enneagram and their application to personal development, consciousness, and human life. The certificate will also say that you are Enneagram Informed, signifying that you have knowledge and skills of value about human temperament, behavior, growth, and transformation that you can bring to your vocations, service, and communities.
Who will benefit from this certification?
- For relatively new students of the Enneagram: an approach to learning through an interdisciplinary depth approach.
- For longtime Enneagram enthusiasts and certified Enneagram teachers: an additional depth to their practice and an advanced discipline certification.
- For professional healers, therapists, and human-potential teachers: an enhanced ability to apply the Enneagram to their field of practice and an advanced certification in the discipline.
Will this program certify me to teach the Enneagram?
No, however, successful completion of the program will provide you with approximately 200 hours for International Enneagram Association approved training. These training hours can be applied to applications through the IEA to be an Enneagram Accredited Professional. (200 hours covers their requirement.)
Is this program accredited by the International Enneagram Association?
Students who successfully complete the 2023-2024 year-long certification program through The Shift Network will receive approximately 200 hours of International Enneagram Association approved training. These training hours can be applied to applications through the IEA to be an Enneagram Accredited Professional. (200 hours cover their requirement for Enneagram Training and Education. There are additional points necessary through IEA for Enneagram-related professional work.)
What if I can’t attend sessions live?
Not to worry! We have designed this program to work even for those with busy schedules, as well as for those who live in different time zones.
While we hope you’ll attend as many live Integration sessions on Wednesday as possible, you’ll be able to stream recordings of each weekly class, integration, and elective session. You’ll never have to worry about missing a session, and you can watch them anytime and anywhere at your convenience.
If you are unable to join Integration Sessions live, we request that you access the replay within the same week of the teaching to stay up on the material. All recordings can be accessed on the Program Homepage. Recordings become available within 48 hours after each class and written transcripts within one week. You have ongoing access to these materials.
Will there be individualized guidance?
This is a group training. However, during Live Integration Sessions, there will be opportunities for Q and A that might allow for direct faculty interaction.
If I participate, how many hours per month should I plan on dedicating to this program?
This will vary, depending on whether you choose to attend all offerings or the minimum requirement. On average, you can expect to spend approximately 15 to 24 hours per month on this program.
What is the cost, and do you offer payment plans?
The investment is $5,000 USD if paid in full (9-month payment plans are also available).
Save $600 on the above prices when you enroll before January 1, 2024!
A $100 non-refundable application processing fee is included in your purchase.
Are scholarships available?
A limited number of partial scholarships are available. For more information and to apply for a partial scholarship, click here. (Do not fill out a regular program application or submit payment if you wish to be considered for a partial scholarship.)
If you are awarded and enroll with a scholarship, your purchase will be non-refundable.
What is the refund policy?
A $100 non-refundable application processing fee is included in your purchase.
A refund for the program, minus the application fee, is available for any reason on or before Midnight Pacific on May 2, 2024. Refunds will not be available after this date.
To request a refund, please click on this refund request form and submit your request. Qualifying refunds will be processed within five business days and an email confirming the refund will be sent. However, we’d love to have a chance to address and resolve your concerns first. If there’s something we can assist you with, please email us at support@theshiftnetwork.com and we’ll be happy to help! (No refund requests accepted after the above date or with scholarships.)
Who are the Faculty Members?
Russ Hudson, Principal Faculty
Russ Hudson has established himself over the past three decades as one of the top teachers and developers of the Enneagram personality typology in the world today. Actively involved in the Enneagram community, Russ is co-founder and president emeritus of The Enneagram Institute, as well as a founding director and former vice president of the International Enneagram Association. He's been writing and teaching full time with The Enneagram Institute since 1991.
Russ has co-authored five bestselling books with Don Richard Riso, including The Wisdom of the Enneagram and Personality Types. These books are widely considered to be not only groundbreaking contributions in the field of Enneagram studies, but also important contributions to the literature of psychological types. The pair developed a scientifically validated test instrument, the Riso-Hudson Type Indicator (RHETI), now considered a standard test in the Enneagram field. The RHETI has been used by numerous Fortune 500 companies.
Russ has a solid background in science, as well as in studies of philosophy and religion. He approaches his work with the Enneagram holding both perspectives. He originally encountered the Enneagram through The Gurdjieff Work, and sees it as a map for personal development and awareness rather than merely a system for categorizing people. He has emphasized the importance of cultivating presence and mindfulness as a foundation for authentic work with the Enneagram, and has worked diligently to align the study of the Enneagram to spiritual practice — and to bring the benefits of this synthesis into greater public awareness.
Russ has been interviewed as an expert on personality types on several dozen radio and television shows, including Good Morning America and The CBS Morning Show. He has become a popular speaker at conferences and retreat centers around the world, including the Esalen Institute, the Wisdom 2.0 Conference, and the Science and Nonduality Conference (SAND).
Jessica Dibb, Principal Faculty
Jessica Dibb is founder, spiritual director, and principal teacher at Inspiration Consciousness School and Community, which is dedicated to promoting personal, relational, and planetary wellness. For over 25 years she has designed and facilitated workshops, classes, and ongoing breath-centered trainings that are grounded in an integrated model of psychospiritual healing and development to support self-actualization.
Jessica’s teachings assist people in cultivating consciousness through all stages of life. Using integrative breathwork, psychodynamic principles, movement, meditation, expressive modalities, the Enneagram, and many other established and emergent wisdom teachings, she facilitates embodied awareness of each moment.
Jessica has taught integrative breathwork at the Psychotherapy Networker Conference for over a decade, and has presented at the International Enneagram Conference for the past 20 years. She co-directs the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance (GPBA), and is current chair of the GPBA’s Ethics Committee.
Jessica founded and hosts the annual Enneagram Global Summit, co-hosted the Breathwork Summit in 2012 and 2020, and was the weaver and visionary behind the innovative conference Breath Immersion: From Science to Samadhi, at Omega Institute and Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. Jessica, who initiated understanding of the “unified breath field,” is currently writing a book on integrating breathwork into psychotherapy.
Jessica is a founding board member of Convergence, a nonprofit organization working to promote dialogue and innovative solutions for challenging social issues of our time. She was an advisor to the U.S.-Muslim Engagement Project, and served on the board of the United States Consensus Council for Search for Common Ground. Jessica is also project liaison for the United Nations Emergency Peace Service Project.
Her deepest passion is to support evolving creativity and positive possibilities on our planet by supporting awakened consciousness, and the embodiment of love, wisdom, and presence in every moment… for all life.
Julie Harris, Integration Faculty
Julie Harris is a certified Riso-Hudson Enneagram teacher, an IEA-accredited professional, and an innovator in transmitting the gifts of the Enneagram through powerful visuals. As founder of Riverbend Coaching, Julie has used the Enneagram in individual client engagements and groupwork for nearly two decades. She excels at blending diverse streams of wisdom into unique and actionable developmental approaches that help clients move toward expansion, integration, and full self-expression.
A core part of Julie’s approach centers on working with the body to move what is stuck, focus on what is scattered, or open what seems closed. Her certifications in this area include Integrative Breathwork Facilitation at Inspiration Community, Integral Coaching with New Ventures West, and Hatha Yoga. Julie’s work incorporates the fruits of creative explorations in the natural world, pilgrimages to India and Egypt, and artistic disciplines such as writing, painting, photography, sculpture, dance, and voice.
Julie has taught Enneagram workshops, webinars, and retreats for personal growth, and corporate team development, as part of university curricula, and at IEA conferences in California and Egypt. She is a co-founder of New York Enneagram.

May my enrollment be shared with a friend or family member?
No. We understand that it can be helpful to share with friends and family the meaningful insights, reflections, and revelations you experience during the program.
While we encourage you to share with others what you learn in the program, we ask that you do not share any of the program materials or anything from the Homepage or private Facebook Community Group.
Each person interested in participating in this program needs to have their own separate application and registration (even spouses).
We maintain this policy out of respect for our Faculty and to honor the contractual agreement with them. This program has been designed to replicate an in-person training as much as possible; therefore, each enrollment is designated for that participant.
___________________________________________________________________
Here is our full Spousal Sharing Policy:
The Shift Network is happy to offer our 2-for-1 special to spouses or partners living under the same roof for most of our foundational courses with the purchase of one full-price registration. (Spousal participation is offered at the sole discretion of the Shift Network and is subject to availability. Certain exclusions may apply. The Company reserves the right to change or cancel this policy at any time.)
However, we are unable to extend this offer to participants in any of our advanced-level or application contingent programs, such as Certification Programs, Immersion Programs, Coaching or Teacher Trainings, and any courses or programs involving 1:1 faculty coaching and mentoring sessions.
___________________________________________________________________
We appreciate your inquiry about this and your commitment to being in integrity. Thank you for not sharing any program materials!
Is there an online community for this program?
Yes. Our exclusive online community (currently a Facebook group) is the perfect place to continue your discovery process after each class. Here, you can continue the discussion about your program materials and interact with your fellow students to take your exploration to an even deeper level.
How many people will be in this program?
In an effort to create an intimate learning environment and ensure that each person receives an abundance of rich learning and support, we are limiting the number of students in this program. It is hard to say what the final number of students will be, particularly while the application period is still open. We carefully review all applications we receive to ensure there is a mutual fit. That being said, our previous certification programs typically have 200 enrolled students on average, to help give a sense of what to expect.
How will I receive my certification?
After the program completes, students who have successfully completed all certification requirements, including receiving a passing grade on their Capstone Project, will be provided their digital certificate (60-day review period).
What are the technical requirements for this program?
As this is an online professional training, intermediate technical skills are required to participate fully in this program. Students are required to have a computer or other device and will be asked to use Zoom and complete online reflections through our Student Portal. Students will need to feel comfortable with basic navigation on our website and opening/playing media and other files (logging in, finding class sessions and materials, playing recordings, opening PDF files, etc.). Important program information will regularly be sent via email, as well.
Is it possible to audit the program if I love to learn, but don’t have a need for the certification?
Yes! This program will provide excellent learning for everyone who wishes to go deeper into the Enneagram of Conscious Living. Auditing the program is an option for those who don’t wish to receive a certification. Certification requirements would not apply; however, we encourage all participants to engage fully in the program and complete the weekly and unit reflections to gain the full benefit of the program. We also encourage all participants to join the Learning Labs for connection, community, and integration.
Engaging in and participating in all aspects of the program will help participants gain the full experience of the program, inform them on whether to change to the Certification track, and ensure that a change to the Certification track will go smoothly — and that catching up on all of the requirements and submissions will not be a heavy lift.
If you are interested in auditing, please reach out to us right away to go over your options. You can submit a Customer Support Request or write us at support@theshiftnetwork.com.
