Cancellation & Refund Policy

Upon registration, you’ll be directed to a health application intake form to complete. Should your health application be declined, all deposits, payments, and fees will be 100% refunded.
In the last year, there has been some instability in Peru, which appears to be over. Rest assured, if The Shift Network needs to cancel the retreat in the event of a recurrence, all payments and fees will be refunded in full.*
In the highly unlikely event that the retreat is canceled by The Shift Network, all deposits, payments, and fees will be refunded in full.*
Once your health application intake form is accepted, the following refund policy applies:*
- Until December 2, 2024: all deposits, payments, and fees are fully refundable, less a $500 USD application and processing fee.
- December 3, 2024 – January 2, 2025, all deposits, payments, and fees are 50% refundable.
- As of January 3, 2025: No refunds.
Deposits, payments, and fees must be paid in full prior to attending the retreat.
Deposits, payments, and fees are listed in USD. You are responsible for any additional fees you may be charged by your financial institution such as foreign currency exchange fees if paying from a non-U.S. account. Contact Customer Support if you require assistance with your payment.

*Please note that this refund policy pertains to the payments and fees you have paid to The Shift Network for the event as described above, and does not apply to your airfare and any miscellaneous costs, which are not included with your registration.

How long is the Health Application process?

Once you submit your health application and deposit, please allow approximately ten business days for our medical supervisor to review. Should we determine that we need more information, we will reach out to you for further discussion.

Please make the time to answer the questions thoroughly and honestly. Just so you know, all information you share with us will be kept confidential and will only be used to assess your participation in this trip.

We appreciate your willingness to offer your time and expertise; however, we currently do not have volunteer opportunities.

Are Airport Transfers included?

Airport transfers are included for arrivals on Retreat Day 1 (March 22) and the final day of Retreat Day 10 (March 31).

For Arrivals on March 22:
Please book your domestic flights (Lima-Cusco) to arrive by 12pm Cusco.

Our team will greet everyone at the airport and private transport to the Sacred Valley (approximately 90 minutes drive).

For Departures on March 31:
Please book your flights to leave CUZ in the late afternoon.

Arriving before | Departure after the Retreat Dates

You will need to organize the arrangements on your own. If you choose to arrive early to acclimatize to the altitude before our retreat start date, we suggest arriving at least 1-2 days prior and going directly to the Sacred Valley, Taypikala Valle Sagrado Retreat Center in Urubamba.

Guests arriving early must arrive at Taypikala Valle Sagrado Retreat Center by 2pm on March 22nd, 2025.

Will there be a Doctor available?

Yes. Dr. Marie Mbouni will be with the group on the journey, and a local medical doctor will be on-call during the retreat.

What kind of Physical Activity level does this require?

The sacred sites we will visit require light walking to hiking, e.g., Machu Picchu, and there are no alternatives to walking.

Who are the Musicians?

Tito La Rosa Flute healing and ceremonial music
Sociologist, Musician, sound healer and builder of musical instruments.
The last 20 years he has worked healing through sound using ancestral
instruments from ancient Peru. He has 12 musical productions based on
his proposal to unite the ancestral-contemporary in a dialogue of
cultures and time. Conductor of harmonization workshops with
companies and leaders of communities. Winner of the national award
for his contribution to music for the Ministry of Culture of Peru.

How many people are in the Smaller Groups?

The groups will consist of 10-12 people, depending on full group size, for integration circles and to help navigate sacred site visits.

Our full group will be in Plant Medicine Ceremonies together with all the Facilitators.
