What if I can't attend sessions live?

Do not worry if you cannot attend weekly classes, integration sessions, or guest workshops live! We have designed this program to work even for those with busy schedules, as well as for those that live in different time zones.

While we hope you’ll attend as many live sessions as possible, you’ll be able to stream recordings. You’ll never have to worry about missing a session, and you can watch them anytime and anywhere at your convenience.

If you are unable to join a session live, we request that you access the replay within the same week, when possible, to stay up on the material. All recordings can be accessed on the Program Homepage. Recordings typically become available within 48 hours, and written transcripts within one week. You have ongoing access to these materials.

It is important to note that any meetings within optional self-organized study groups will not be recorded.

Who is this program for?

The Path of Christ Consciousness is designed for seekers, healers, and visionaries ready to navigate life’s challenges with greater wisdom, compassion, and grace.

This journey invites you to deepen your understanding of yourself and the world by engaging with the timeless insights of ancient and modern mystics and prophets through the lens of Creation Spirituality.

Here are some examples of who this program is for:

  • Spiritual Seekers who are drawn to exploring deeper truths about existence, the Divine, and their life purpose
  • Interfaith Practitioners who seek to build on their teachings through an inclusive approach, weaving together wisdom from mystics, prophets, and theologians across cultures and eras
  • Academics and Theologians who are teaching new generations about Jesus and the tradition that grew up around him before Christianity married the empire. And, the Creation Spirituality mystics and prophets who tried to live out and articulate the real Jesus and Christ Consciousness.
  • Healers, Therapists, and Life Coaches who seek practices and frameworks that help clients navigate personal evolution and are interested in how Creation Spirituality offers tools for deep compassion, transformation, and understanding the sacred in life
  • Environmental Advocates who want to delve deeper into the sacredness of creation, are passionate about ecological justice, and who seek spiritual grounding for their advocacy
  • Artists and Creatives who want to explore Creation Spirituality and its emphasis on the divine nature of creativity — and who resonate with the idea of channeling sacred energy into their work, recognizing how creativity fosters both personal and societal transformation
  • Community Leaders and Visionaries who are creating or guiding communities and seek spiritual frameworks that inspire collective wisdom, compassion, and courage, ensuring that their leadership is both impactful and sacred.
  • Individuals Facing Major Life Transitions, whether career shifts, relationship transitions, midlife reevaluations, health issues, or more, who seek spiritual perspectives to navigate uncertainty with courage and clarity
  • Social Activists committed to justice and transformation who feel drawn to spiritual frameworks that emphasize compassion, courage, and collective evolution
  • Parents and Grandparents who seek practices and frameworks that help loved ones navigate personal evolution and are interested in how Creation Spirituality offers tools for deep compassion, transformation, and understanding the sacred in life
  • All Who Want to See Our Spiritual/Religious Traditions Come to Life in this critical time when we face extinction as a species, whether through degradation of Earth or war or greed-based authoritarianism

Who are the instructors?

LEAD FACULTY

Matthew Fox

Renowned Spiritual Pioneer & Author of More Than 40 Books

Matthew Fox is a prolific author of books dedicated to renewing the ancient tradition of Creation Spirituality, including Original Blessing... A Spirituality Named Compassion... and Christian Mystics. This earth-based mystical tradition is feminist, welcoming of the arts and artists, honors Indigenous wisdom, works with science, and is committed to interfaith approaches and eco, social, and gender justice.

Matthew’s effort to reawaken the West to its own mystical tradition has sparked awareness of Hildegard of Bingen, Meister Eckhart, Julian of Norwich, and the mysticism of Thomas Aquinas, as well as the wisdom tradition that nurtured Jesus. Matthew’s work helps reconnect science and spirituality by honoring the sacredness of the Cosmos, and interacting with contemporary scientists who are also mystics. He believes that “by reinventing work, education, and worship, we can bring about a nonviolent revolution on our planet.”

Matthew received his doctorate summa cum laude in the history and theology of spiritualities from the Institut Catholique de Paris. A member of the Dominican Order for 34 years, he established an Institute in Culture and Creation Spirituality that operated for seven years at Mundelein College in Chicago, and for 12 years at Holy Names University in Oakland.

He founded the University of Creation Spirituality in Oakland in 1996 and was president and professor until 2005 when he left to create a pilot project to reinvent the educational experience for inner-city teenagers.

Matthew is a recipient of many awards, including the Gandhi King Ikeda Award from Morehouse College, which is awarded for dedication to peace, unity, nonviolence, and justice. He also received the Peace Abbey Courage of Conscience Award —other recipients have included the Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa, and Rosa Parks. He is currently a visiting scholar at the Academy for the Love of Learning in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
