Trouble Signing In? | Tips

We’re sorry to hear you're having trouble signing in to your Shift Companion app — and we’re here to help you get connected so you can access your courses with ease (including offline viewing!).

Try these steps first:

  1. 📧 Check your email
    Make sure you’re using the same email address you use for your Shift Network courses.
  2. 🔄 Update the app
    Confirm you’re using the latest version of the Shift Companion app from the App Store or Google Play.
  3. 🔁 Restart & try again
    Fully close the app and reopen it—this can often resolve quick glitches.
  4. 🔐 Authenticate once
    Like the Customer Access Portal, the app requires a one-time sign-in. After that, you’ll stay signed in unless you log out or switch devices.
  5. 🌐 Check your connection
    If you’re offline, connect briefly to Wi-Fi or data to complete the sign-in process.
  6. 📱 Device & OS
    Some issues can be specific to certain devices or operating systems—make a note of yours if the issue continues.
