Why was my credit card declined?

Order Form Tips

If you are having trouble with an Order Form, please try the following suggestions before opening the order form link again:

If your order is successfully processed, you will receive a receipt and access email from The Shift Network right away. Please check your spam/junk folders or Gmail Promotions tab if you do not see them in your inbox.

New Credit/Debit Card Orders

If your credit or debit card has been declined upon placing your order, please check that the following information is correct:

  • Name and address match your credit/debit card account
  • Card number has been entered correctly
  • Expiration date has not expired
  • CVC/CVV code on the back of the card has been entered correctly
  • Confirm that you have not exceeded a limit on your account.
  • Contact your bank to find out if there is a block on your card or if you need to give special authorization for an online order, particularly for international orders.

Existing Payment Plan Orders Scheduled to Automatically Process on Your Credit/Debit Card

If your credit or debit card has been declined for an existing order, please check the following:

  • Do you need to update your credit card expiration date?
  • Are there sufficient funds in your account?

If you have confirmed that your credit card information is correct and you have sufficient funds in your account, you may need to contact your bank to authorize an online transaction, particularly with international orders.
